Awesome Arbor board and Flux bindings

I just got an extra board from Arbor and new Flux bindings. I love the board which is 2 cm shorter than the other one I’m riding. For me it just makes the difference. I’m riding the Del Rey which is my favourite board. It fits like a glove and makes me feel comfortable on the slopes. If you have the opportunity you should try and ride one. With the great graphics and wooden toplayer it’s a beauty. The Flux bindings are adjustable to the max. They are flexible but at the same time make you feel one with your board. I’m riding Flux for 4 or 5 years now and they’ve never let me down.

Finally on my board again

Finally, after 6 weeks of recovery I got on my board again last monday. In september the whole team went to Saas Fee to prepare for a new season. During one of the first training sessions I landed a bit sketchy after a simple 360 and fell unlucky. I ripped my shoulder straps and booked a helicopter to the hospital in Visp. I’m top fit again and ready to take off to Breckenridge Colorado at the end of the month!

Trainingsweek Flachauwinkl

hi,

last week I was in Flachauwinkl for some pipe and slopestyle training. It was a really fun week and training went really good. On the first day the weather was not so good. It was a bit misty, but we didn’t want to do crazy tricks anyway so it didn’t matter that much. It was more just do some laps, check the park and have fun. The second day was really really good weather. It was bluebird and it was really warm. Bummer that Milan (our trainer) was sick that day! But yeah we had a really good day, everyone did new tricks so it was nice. I tried a FS 9 a couple times but didn’t land it.. Third day was bad weather in the morning but it cleared up a bit after a few hours. On the fourth day we decided to go to schladming to see how that park looked. There were 3 kickers in a row and plenty of rails so we were excited. But it had snowed the day before so when we got there, there was 3 cm snow and the park wasn’t shaped so I couldn’t jump the kickers. Bummer! but I had fun on the rails though. When everyone was done with the kickers, we decided to just do some laps on the rails and have fun and film some. So after all it was a good day. Except for Jesper who busted his shoulder with a bs 990.. he couldn’t ride anymore that day and the next day. The last day was really good weather and we went to the pipe, which was shaped the night before so it looked really good. We had rented a Skidoo for two hours to bring us to the top op the pipe. That way we could do waay more runs than when we had to go with the chairlift every time! the first couple runs went really bad. I just didn’t “feel” the pipe. then i thought, maybe if I just started spinning it’ll go better. So I did a couple 5′s and 7′s and i landed my first cab 7 that day! I also landed back to back 7′s so I was pretty stoked!

so yeah after all it was a really fun and good week, and i’m also really happy about my result in Rogla on the Slopestyle EC, got 7th!!

Peace!

here’s my first back to back 7
